Rethinking Smaller, Smarter Social — Then Rethinking It Again

With Everyme, the idea is to keep the Circles very small. And again, private.

Everyme Circles are actually closer to Facebook’s Smart Lists, which the social network also populates for you based on relationships. But for many people, Facebook has become too large.

Another ‘mobile only’ social network, on the surface it seems quite nice and the app itself is very intuitive, but I just wonder how hard it’s going to be to get people away from Facebook….which is the most obvious competitor.

Then again, I bet that’s what people were saying about Facebook when it launched, I wonder how hard it will be to get people off of Friendster / Myspace.

All that aside, I quite like the implementation of Everyme Circles where you get to keep certain information private to certain social circles, of course if you don’t have 5,000 Facebook friends it’s easy enough to do that same sort of thing there.

Anyway, it’s a ‘watch this space’ case for now.
